100% Syrah  from Karam Neve Attiv
Mixed clayey soil with a high percentage of lime (900 m).

The Syrah vineyard in Neve Attiv is my home vineyard. In the 2021 growing season, the talented Little Ovadia from Tel Winery was responsible for the growing throughout the season.
Because of the location of the vineyard, it is not possible to work it with heavy tools. The work in the vineyard is manual, because I believe that the uniqueness of the fruit Growing up there is worth the effort.
 
The grapes were harvested by friends, in a night harvest, and arrived at the winery when they were cold.
In the morning the grapes were sorted, destemed and after two days spontaneous fermentation began, without any additions.
After 11 days of fermentation and gentle extraction work, the wine was pressed and went into barrels to age.
The wine was aged in old barrels for nine months and bottled with a small sulphite addition at bottling.

I feel this is the most complete wine I've released to date and although it's ready to drink now, it will reveal to the patient.
